Bhutan sites do not run a single-brand excavator standard. Public plant registers and dealer sites show JCB JS, Kobelco SK, Sany SY, Hyundai and Komatsu PC-class 20-tonne machines on the same contractor lists. Pioneer Mitra quotes replacement hydraulics, cooling and wear from India after the plate or the failed part is identified. We do not hire excavators in Thimphu and we do not claim the hydro packages.

KD Builders Pvt. Ltd. publishes a plant-and-machinery register that includes JCB 3DX backhoes, JCB JS-220/JS-221 excavators, multiple Kobelco SK200/SK220 units, Sany SY-220, Hyundai excavators and Komatsu PC-200-7/8 machines. That page is useful as proof of mixed-brand reality. It is not a Pioneer Mitra client roster and we do not imply those machines are awaiting our parts.
Dealer-side: Ugen Earthmovers for JCB (including the 2026 520X LC introduction); Druk Trading Equipment for Kobelco, CASE and OKADA with Phuentsholing clearing via its sister C&F; Yoebar for Sany and other construction lines, noting on its own FAQ that common parts are stocked and major components are order-based. Aftermarket India sourcing sits beside those channels — it does not replace them.
Access roads and civil packages on DHyE small-hydro sites, larger Khorlochhu civil works, dzongkhag roads, and quarry/aggregate feeding hydropower — all keep 20-tonne class machines on hire. Winter and high-altitude sites (public reporting on Gamri/Sakteng noted access-bridge limits and cold-weather concrete) raise wear on hydraulics and cooling. That is operating context. It is not an “emergency excavator kit” SKU.
